Poland creates the biggest snow maze in the world

But it’s not only known for that – Zakopane is home to the world’s biggest snow maze that would even make Stanley Kubrick proud. The giant maze is larger than ten tennis courts and was pieced together by using over 60,000 ice blocks. Snowlandia is a Snow land which also includes a Snow Castle, and Igloo and Sledding.

The world’s largest snow maze is located in Zakopane, in the Winter Adventure Park – Snowland (Polish: Największy na świecie śnieżny labirynt, Zakopane). It was built for the first time in 2016. Its area is over 2,500 square meters, which makes it the largest building of this type in Poland and in the world. The corridors are over kilometer long, and the walls are two meters high. The maze is located under the “Wielka Krokiew” ski jump, surrounded by the Tatra National Park. In addition to playing in the maze, visitors can admire the igloo with beautiful snow and ice sculptures, and use the toboggan run and the ski lift.
